Foto Friday Fiesta . . .

Come take a walk with me down memory lane. I found these pictures in my house photo's collection. That was my bathroom when I was a kid. My parents had this mural painted above the loo. There are many "why's" I had every time I entered this room as an impressionable child.

Like. Why the rabbit? Why was the light switch so high? And more importantly . . . Why?

Why not join in the fun at Candid Carrie's!

You got to love the 70's! RM do you have any pictures of my old bed room? The one we called the "Blue room" because everything was blue. Blue carpet, walls, bedding, lamps, shutters and dresser. The big mural was also blue (blue sky's and a blue lake). Thank God I did not get Mom or Dads decorating DNA. To this day I can't sleep in a blue room.
By the way Marcy and I are not moving to the Bahamas, yet. It's now Las Vegas because Marcy will be going to the Cordon Bleu Culinary School. I want her to follow her dream to become a Culinary Chef. We will be going to the open house in November.

How could you pee with such a large audience? Are you bladder shy now?

Or are you the exhibitionist your parents always hoped for?

Are you still going to your first psychologist or have you moved on to one for grown ups?

Do you know murals aren't real?

Why was the bunny's head so big in proportion with the other children?

Did they glow in the dark?

Were those fake plants by a fake window?

Was the toilet real or was it a plant holder?

I'd be glad to be a girl, 'cause if I was a boy I couldn't pee with all those people watching me.

Your parents must have thought it was cute but, yeah....how can you learn to pee with all those people looking at you. Have you been to therapy? Hee, hee, hee.

I wish I had a picture of the bathroom of the house we rented after my parents split. It had a poster of a toilet with hands coming out and trying to grasp the rim... the bathroom itself was red and black.

LOL That was his brother's foot. Thanks for coming by.

I figured it out... They are all devout Catholics making sure you weren't having too much fun by yourself in the john... the bunny was allegory for being fruitful and multiplying..
